Police ID Deceased Victim Of Kensington Double Shooting

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police say a man is dead and another man is hospitalized following a double shooting in Philadelphia's Kensington neighborhood.

Philadelphia Police say it happened at about 8:25 p.m. Tuesday in the 2000 block of Stella Street.

According to police, a 22-year-old man, identified as Eliezer Menendez, was shot in the torso. Police say he was taken to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 8:51 p.m.

Police say a 21-year-old man suffering from a graze wound to the head was found at Cambria and Amber Streets.  He was taken to the hospital and placed in stable condition, according to police.

Police say no arrests have been made at this time.

An investigation is underway.
