Police: 1 Dead, 2 Hospitalized In Strawberry Mansion Shooting

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia Police say one person is dead and two others are hospitalized following a shooting in Strawberry Mansion.

It happened just before 8 p.m. Monday at the 1700 block of N. 31st Street.

Police tell Eyewitness News a 51-year-old man was found inside a vehicle shot four times. He was taken Temple University Hospital where he is listed in extremely critical condition, according to police.

Police tell Eyewitness News a second victim, a man in his 20's, was found at 31st and Montgomery shot once in the face.  He was also taken to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to police.

Police say a 35-year-old woman was shot in the back. She was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital and is listed in very critical condition.

Police say 18 shell casings were found in the street.

No arrests have been made at this time.

Police tell Eyewitness News they are looking for man possibly in a gray mini-van with two windows shot out.

The shooting remains under investigation.
