62-year-old pilot hospitalized after plane crash at Cross Keys Airport

BREAKING: Banner plane crash in Monroe Township, Gloucester County

WILLIAMSTOWN, N.J. (CBS) -- A small banner plane crashed in a wooded area near the Cross Keys Airport in Gloucester County Thursday. 

Monroe Township police said the pilot, a 62-year-old man, was the only occupant. He was airlifted to Cooper University Hospital and his condition was not immediately available.

There's no word yet on what caused the single-engine Cessna 150G plane to crash. 

Local, county and state emergency vehicles were at the scene along with the Federal Aviation Administration.
