Pit Bull On Loose Bites Man, 2 Children In West Oak Lane

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Three people, two of them children, were taken to the hospital after they were all bitten by a Pit Bull on the loose Saturday in the West Oak Lane section of Philadelphia.

This happened around 5:45 p.m. on the 1500 block of Beverly Road.

Police say two boys, ages nine and eleven, were both bitten by the Pit Bull, and a 25-year-old man suffered the same fate when he tried to intervene.

All three were taken to Einstein Hospital where they were treated for minor injuries.

Police say the dog was taken to the Philadelphia animal shelter.
