'Pistachio Girl' Fired From Vendor Job At Citizens Bank Park

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Aramark says "Pistachio Girl" has been fired from her job as a vendor at Citizens Bank Park after her public support of white nationalists.

In a statement, Aramark spokesman David Freiriech confirms that ballpark vendor Emily Youcis is no longer employed by Aramark after "publicly connecting our company to views that contradict our values."

Youcis, known as "Pistachio Girl," gained a measure of ballpark fame for her dyed hair and vibrato sales pitch selling pistachios and peanuts over the last seven seasons.

This past year, she wore a Trump-style "Make the Phillies great again" hat as she worked.

Youcis attracted attention of a different sort last month, when she got into a confrontation with demonstrators outside a meeting of a white supremacist think tank, saying she wanted to "stand up for white America."

In a video on the white identity site redice.com, Youcis says she's considering hiring a lawyer.
