PHS Looking For Volunteers For This Year's Butterfly Experience

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Love butterflies and nature?

Now is your chance to volunteer to help out at this year's Butterfly Experience at the PHS Philadelphia Flower Show.

The interactive exhibit consists of a heated room with plants that is designed to mimic the creatures' natural habitat. This year, it will double in size to include more than 20 different species of the winged insects.

Event organizers say they're now looking for volunteers who are able to collect admission at the front of the exhibit, distribute feeding sticks, answer questions and instruct guests on how to enter and exit the exhibit.

Water will be provided and volunteers will not be inside the exhibit – which is kept around 80 degrees – for more than an hour at a time.

The Flower Show runs Feb. 28 through March 8. For more information on volunteering, visit: www.pennhort.net/butterfly.
