Philly Zoo Throws 34th Birthday Party For 'Motuba' The Gorilla

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Philadelphia Zoo held a big birthday party on Wednesday.

Motuba -- a 425-pound Silverback Western Lowland Gorilla -- turned 34 years old.

Motuba and the other gorillas enjoyed treats to celebrate the occasion.

In nature, male gorillas usually only live into their 20s.

Despite being 34, the zoo's curator of small animals and primates says Motuba is quite healthy.
