Philly Soccer Show: Union Goalkeeper Back In Action

By Greg Orlandini

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - He picked up a clean sheet in his first start of the season and he's the guest on the KYW Philly Soccer Show.

KYW's Greg Orlandini and Philly Soccer Page writer Eli Pearlman-Storch are joined by Union goalkeeper Andre Blake.  The 2014 first overall pick in the MLS Super Draft talks about getting the shutout and victory in Montreal last week.

He also discusses having to deal with injuries earlier this year and seeing others players start in goal ahead of him. The Jamaica-born player then talks about playing for his country in the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.

Then Greg and Eli discuss Union's next game as they get ready to host the New England Revolution at PPL Park this Saturday.  The high flying Revs have been a tough match for the Union recently, with potent offense that could give Philadelphia so fits on defense.
