Philly Soccer Show: Union Alum Danny Mwanga, Newcomer C.J. Sapong

By Greg Orlandini

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (CBS) -- A bit of the past and a bit of the future on this week's KYW Philly Soccer Show.

First, KYW's Greg Orlandini and Philly Soccer Page's Eli Pearlman-Storch talk with Orlando City forward Danny Mwanga.

Danny was the Philadelphia Union's first-ever draft pick, in 2010, and was with the team until 2012.  Orlando selected Mwanga from the Colorado Rapids in this years expansion draft. He joins two other former Union players in the Sunshine State -- Amobi Okugo and Pedro Ribeiro.

We then talk to the newest member of the Philadelphia Union, CJ Sapong. This former MLS Rookie of the Year is also an MLS Cup winner (with Sporting KC).

He comes over from Kansas City in a trade that saw the Union send cash and the team's first-round pick in this year's draft to KC.
