Philly Soccer Show: Despite Loss, Philadelphia Union Still In Playoff Race

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- It is a week off for the Philadelphia Union, but not for the KYW Philly Soccer Show.

KYW's Greg Orlandini and Philly Soccer Page Writer Mike Servedio break down the Union's loss to New York Red Bulls.

The team went down 3-2 in a tough fought contest in North Jersey last weekend. It also saw two top players, Josh Yaro and Alejandro Bedoya go off injured. The loss knocked the Union to 6th but keeps them in the playoff race with two games to go. The team heads back to action on October 16th at home against Orlando City.

We then bring in show contributor Steve Holroyd. The local labor attorney and soccer historian is here to talk about some issues facing the NASL and the affect it could have on US Soccer. Also, the MLS Players Union has released an update list of salaries for the league and we take a look at that.
