Philly Soccer Show: Copa América Centenario Matches Here?

By Greg Orlandini

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (CBS) --  A major soccer tournament is coming to the USA in a couple of years, and Philadelphia could be a host city for it.

The Copa América Centenario ("Centennial America Cup") is a competition among nations from both North and South America, and will be played in the US in 2016.

In this special edition of the KYW Philly Soccer Show, KYW's Greg Orlandini talks with Larry Needle, executive director of the Philadelphia Sports Congress.

Needle talks about the process by which the City of Brotherly Love could host some matches.  He also discusses where Philadelphia ranks among soccer cities in the country, and how having PPL Park has helped bring in more sports events to the region.
