Philly Soccer Show: Antoine Hoppenot on Union's Season Opener

By Greg Orlandini

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) –- It was a near-perfect performance but with a last-minute lapse, as the Philadelphia Union dropped two points at the Portland Timbers in their season opener last Saturday.

The KYW Philly Soccer Show takes a look at that game with the Union's Antoine Hoppenot.  The French-born forward joins KYW's Greg Orlandini and Philly Soccer Page writer Eli Pearlman-Storch in the studio this week.

Hoppenot, who came into the Portland match as a substitute late in the game, talks about all the positives in the performance despite the fact that the Timbers were able to tie it on corner kick deep into stoppage time.

We also look ahead to this Saturday's home opener at PPL Park as the Union hosts the New England Revolution.
