Philly Pops Presents 'Cirque Goes To The Movies'

By RJ McKay

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Philly Pops presents, "Cirque Goes To The Movies," May 20 through the 22nd.
Music director and conductor, Michael Krajewski, talks about the concert.

"'Cirque Goes To The Movies" is going to feature a group of very talented athletes. They're acrobats, they're jugglers, they're aerialists. They do these amazing physical feats while you're listening live to some of the greatest movie soundtracks."

Michael explains why this concert is so special.

"This is actually going to be a brand new program that we are premiering with the Philly Pops. They normally perform to classical symphonic repertoire, I suggested to them, let's do a program where you do your performances to music from the movies."
