Philly Police Seek Suspects Accused Of Beating And Robbing Victim In Broad Daylight

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Police are on the hunt for two males accused of beating and robbing a man in North Philadelphia.

The incident occurred February 3rd around 2:00 p.m. A 40-year-old man was walking on the 2600 block of North Warnock Street when he was approached by two black males. One of the men pointed a handgun at him and demanded his belongings.

When the suspects thought the victim was moving too slowly, they began beating him causing severe injuries.

The two men escaped with the victim's money. They were last seen running east on Huntingdon Street from Warnock Street.

The suspects are described as being in their late teens to early twenties, wearing dark clothing and one was armed with a black handgun.

Police urge if you see these suspects do not approach them, but call 911 immediately.
