Philly Man Charged In South Jersey Daycare Center Sex Assault

MOUNT HOLLY, N.J. (AP) — Prosecutors say an employee at a South Jersey daycare center for mentally-challenged adults has been charged with sexual assaulting a client.

The Burlington County Prosecutor's Office said Wednesday the 58-year-old Philadelphia man has been charged with third-degree aggravated criminal sexual contact.

Prosecutors say he worked as a caregiver at the Friend of Cyrus facility in Delanco. They say he is accused of having one of his female clients touch him in an "inappropriate sexual manner" last month.

The man's arrest comes after an investigation involving the Delanco Police Department and Burlington County prosecutors.

He remains jailed on $50,000 bail.
