2 Philly Hospitals Get Top Safety Grades, Report Reveals

PHILADELPHIA (CBS)--Two Philadelphia hospitals get top safety grades according to a new report.

The report from the Leapfrog Group evaluated level one trauma centers.

The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Thomas Jefferson University Hospital were among 34 centers throughout the country to receive an "A"  from the "Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade" which measures patient safety.

The grade takes into consideration things like medical errors and infections.
