Phillies Top Pick Randolph Gets First Taste Of Citizens Bank Park

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Cornelius Randolph, the Phillies first round pick in the 2015 MLB Draft, agreed to terms on a deal with the team which was announced on Wednesday. Randolph, 18, played for Griffin High School in Georgia.

In his senior season, Randolph hit .526 with 11 doubles, seven home runs and a .934 slugging percentage.

Randolph was a left-handed hitting shortstop in high school, but there has been talk of Randolph transitioning to the outfield as a professional.

On Wednesday, Randolph was introduced and got the opportunity to meet some of his fellow Phillies at Citizens Bank Park.
