Phillies Place Harang On DL, Call Up Billingsley

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Phillies have placed right-handed pitcher Aaron Harang on the 15-day DL with left foot plantar fasciitis and activated right-handed pitcher Chad Billingsley, the team announced on Thursday.

Harang, 37, is is 4-11 with a 4.08 ERA in 17 starts this season.

Billingsley, 30, is just 0-2 with a 6.75 ERA in three starts with the Phils this season. He has been recovering from a shoulder injury for the past six weeks. Billingsley will start on Thursday night against the Milwaukee Brewers.
