Phillies Congratulate Giants On Twitter, Fans Respond Exactly As You Would Expect
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- Six years ago today we celebrated the Phillies World Series Championship with a parade down Broad Street. It was a glorious day.
The San Francisco Giants and their fans will take part in their third parade in the last five years today, as the Giants beat the Royals in the game 7 of the World Series on Wednesday night.
After the game, the Phillies Twitter account congratulated the Giants, the franchise that eliminated the Phillies from post-season contention in 2010. The responses were exactly as you would expect.
@Phillies please rebuild this team. That was painful to watch.
