Phillies Claim Peter Bourjos From Cardinals
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Phillies have claimed outfielder Peter Bourjos off waivers from the St. Louis Cardinals, the team announced on Wednesday.
Bourjos, 28, hit .200 with eight doubles, three triples, and four home runs in 117 games last season. He was a 10th round pick in 2005.
Additionally, right-hander Nefi Ogando was claimed by the Miami Marlins. The Phillies remain at 38 players on their 40-man roster.
