Philadelphia's 2015 Democratic Mayoral Candidates

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- Months of campaigning by the six Democratic candidates for mayor of Philadelphia have come to an end, and now it is up to the voters.

The six democratic candidates running are listed below:

 

LYNNE ABRAHAM

  • Abraham opposes Mayor Nutter's property tax hike to provide more money for schools, but believes education spending has to go up. (Read more)

 

NELSON DIAZ

  • Diaz says the foundation of his campaign is a desire to improve public education. (Read more)

 

JIM KENNEY

  • Kenney sees the way forward as universal Pre-K and the end of stop and frisk. (Read more)

 

DOUG OLIVER

  • Oliver says children should not have to leave the district to get the education they need. (Read more)

 

T. MILTON STREET
