Philadelphians Search For Silver Lining During SEPTA Strike

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- It's the strike that has a lot of people stressed out.

"It's been ridiculous coming and going," said one commuter, while another added "I'm late for work, late getting home."

Sentiments also found on social media, where hashtag #septastrike turns up plenty of angst-filled tweets aimed at SEPTA and other drivers. But, not everyone is complaining.

Damian Huwett of Southwest Philly made light of the heavy traffic situation, when his SEPTA strike remix of Ja Rule's 2001 hit "Living It Up" went viral.

The silly video made us smile and inspired the search for a silver lining.

From commiserating with colleagues…"We get into work, we all complain together," said one would-be passenger, while another opts for carpool karaoke. "We have duets, we sing Aladdin and Sonny and Cher."

And finally... A legitimate reason to order another round. "Happy hour definitely helps."
