Philadelphia Zoo Again Offering Free Admission For Teachers During Summer Months

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – If you're an educator who also loves animals, you might want to check out an offering from the Philadelphia Zoo.

The zoo says it will again offer its popular "Summer Break Teacher Pass" to certified/licensed pre-K to 12th grade classroom teachers, principals and assistant principles.

The pass offers free admission to the zoo Monday through Friday from June 15 through Aug. 28, 2015.

In a post on its Facebook page, the zoo says the Summer Break Teacher Pass "is intended to give teachers the opportunity to prepare in advance the curriculum connections that can be made with the region's largest living classroom."

Educators in public, private and charter schools in Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey and Maryland are all eligible.
