Seasonable start to the week with highs in the 50s, rain impacts holiday travel starting Tuesday

It was a chilly start for many as they headed out the door this morning, but temperatures will reach mid-50s by the afternoon. It's going to be a quiet day with plenty of sunshine, with highs approaching the mid-50s by Monday afternoon — good weather for travel.

Monday will be another seasonable day with plenty of sunshine and high temperatures in the mid-50s. 

Planning travel this week? The NEXT Weather system will be on the move and looks to bring rain back into the region Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday, which could have impacts on holiday travel.

Some on-and-off showers are in the forecast for Wednesday, but it will start to clear out at night.

Wednesday also turns blustery ahead of the evening cold front. Winds could lead to airport delays, but the southwest wind means we'll surge into the 60s.

Thanksgiving is trending windy and much colder, with highs in the 40s. Friday looks to be even colder with gustier winds. The chillier weather will last into the final weekend of November.
