We've issued a NEXT Weather Alert for Sunday morning. A clipper system out of Canada will arrive Saturday night into Sunday morning. This system could bring our first measurable snow to Philadelphia.
Models are still in disagreement on the exact placement of the steadiest snow. It's looking increasingly likely that the Philly area will see at least light accumulations by the time people wake up Sunday morning.
Temperatures climb to the low 40s Saturday on southwest winds ahead of the storm. Temps will drop rapidly as cold air pours into the region Sunday.
There doesn't appear to be heavy snow — a general coating to 2 inches at most. Impacts would include slick travel Sunday morning for Eagles tailgaters or anyone planning holiday shopping or decorating.
The snow chances diminish after daybreak Sunday. If you're going to the Eagles-Raiders game, bundle up. The 1 p.m. kickoff temperature will be near freezing and feel like the teens or 20s throughout the game.
