PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The Philadelphia Urban League will get a big economic boost over the course of five years as part of a 50 city effort to put America back to work.

National Urban League President Marc Morial attended a press conference at the Lowe's on Friday to announce that Philadelphia is a designated Job Rebuild America market.  He says the Urban League of Philadelphia will get a five-year $1-million investment from 2011 to 2016 to support its work on the ground:

"It's commitment to job training, entrepreneurship and youth development. and that's what jobs rebuild america represents. And that is what Jobs Philadelphia represents."

Morial says Philadelphia is a key part of the investment.

The money comes thanks to public and private sector partnerships -- totaling $100-million nationwide.
