Philadelphia Teenager Charged With Stabbing Kutztown Student

KUTZTOWN, P.A., (CBS) -- On Friday, the Kutztown Borough Police announced charges against an 18-year-old Philadelphia man in connection to the stabbing of a Kutztown student, according to the university.

Officials say the incident took place in the early morning hours on Saturday, February 20. The man has been charged with attempted homicide and is in police custody.

Police say the suspect allegedly stabbed a Kutztown student in the neck and ribs during an altercation.

Authorities say that he is not a Kutztown student. Kutztown Borough Police released surveillance video of the suspects in the incident.

Authorities announced that charges are not expected to be filed against the other two individuals in the video.

The school announced that the victim in the incident remains in "serious condition."
