A storage facility worker was shot during a robbery Monday night in Northeast Philadelphia, police said.

The shooting happened inside the Good Deal Self Storage in the 5400 block of Eadom Street in the city's Wissinoming neighborhood at around 7 p.m., according to police.

Police said the alleged shooter entered the facility wearing a mask and announced a robbery. The employee complied with the suspect's demands and handed him cash from the register, according to police.

The suspect fired his gun during the incident, striking the man in the chest, police said. The victim also suffered a graze wound on his head. He was taken to a nearby hospital and placed in critical condition.

The alleged shooter then fled the facility, driving a minibike southbound on Eadom Street.

Investigators released surveillance video of the robbery and shooting Wednesday. The video shows a suspect entering the storage facility wearing a green ski mask, gray hoodie under a black hooded jacket, blue jeans and black Jordan sneakers.

The robbery and shooting remain under investigation. No arrests have been made.
