Father, son shot in Northeast Philadelphia's Holmesburg neighborhood, police say
A father and son were shot in Northeast Philadelphia's Holmesburg neighborhood Sunday night, police said.
The shooting happened on the 4700 block of Vista Street at around 6:30 p.m. The two were bystanders, according to police.
The son was taken to St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, and the father was taken to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital. Police said they were both placed in stable condition.
The shooting is under investigation.
