Philadelphia Police: Woman Rushed To Hospital After Being Stabbed On Center City Subway Concourse

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A woman was rushed to the hospital after police say she was stabbed in Center City. Philadelphia police responded to the 1500 block of John F. Kennedy Boulevard for reports of a stabbing on the subway concourse of Suburban Station.

When officers arrived, they found the woman was stabbed in the leg.

She was rushed to a nearby hospital and is currently in stable condition.

Police say a suspect was arrested in Love Park. Surveillance cameras helped police track him down.

Transit police believe the pair know each other.

There is no word on what led to the stabbing.
