By Justin Udo

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia police have released a video of three men who they say brutally beat a man and took his car.

They say the robbery took place shortly before 2 a.m. on December 20th in the Fishtown section of the city when a man walking down the 2300 block of East Norris street was approached by a group of men who started an argument with him.

Police say the argument turned physical when the suspects started kicking and punching the man and beating him with a trash can.

During the incident the man lost his car keys to his 2009 Volkswagen Passat, and shortly after the fight the suspects took the man's car.

The victim suffered minor scrapes and bruising and was transported to Pennsylvania hospital where he was treated.
