Philadelphia Police Searching For 2 Females Who Robbed A Beauty Supply Store

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are searching for two female suspects who robbed a beauty supply store on Columbus Avenue in Philadelphia.

On May 19 around 11:45 a.m., the two suspects entered Cosmo Professional beauty supply at 1100 South Columbus Boulevard and tried to leave the store without paying for numerous flat iron curlers.

When an employee, a 66-year-old woman, tried to stop the suspects, one of them sprayed her with pepper spray.

Both suspects then fled the scene in a white late model Ford SUV that was last seen heading west on Washington Avenue towards Front Street.

The first suspect is described as a black female between 25 and 30 and about 5'2" and 200 lbs. She walks with a limp and was wearing black capri pants, a black and white flowered shirt and was armed with pepper spray.

The second suspect is also a black female between 25 and 30 years old who is about 5'5" and 230 lbs. She was also wearing black capri pants with a black shirt.
