Philadelphia Police Officer Recovering In Hospital Following Motorcycle Crash In Torresdale

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A crash in Philadelphia's Torresdale neighborhood has left a police officer injured. Police say the officer was on a police motorcycle when he was struck a car just before 5 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of State Road and Linden Avenue.

According to officials, the officer suffered injuries to his leg.

The officer was rushed to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital for treatment and is listed in stable condition.
