Philadelphia Police Officer Injures Hand In Cruiser Crash

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — A Philadelphia police officer suffered a minor hand injury when he lost control of his cruiser and crashed into several parked cars and a fence early Monday morning.

Police say slick roads from an overnight snowstorm likely played a role in the crash that happened around 12:15 a.m. on Byberry Road in Northeast Philadelphia.

No other injuries were reported.
