Philadelphia Police Investigating After Man Killed In Kensington

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are investigating after a man was killed in Philadelphia's Kensington neighborhood on Thursday night. It happened on the 400 block of East Elkhart Street.

When officers arrived, they found a man lying on the ground outside of a car with the door open. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A gun was recovered near the man's body.

Police say the victim was involved in an altercation with a woman when another man shot the victim. They say the alleged shooter and the woman involved are cooperating with investigators.
