Philadelphia Man Accused Of Beating Neighbor's Dogs With Bricks

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A Philadelphia man is facing charges after he allegedly beat a neighbor's dogs with bricks back in August.

On Aug. 27, the Philadelphia Police Department brought two dogs to the PSPCA after their owner found them bleeding outside her house on the 3700 block of N 19th Street.

Both dogs had blunt force trauma and were treated.

The PSPCA says it began an investigation and issued a warrant for the arrest of 56-year-old Willie Enoch.

On Oct. 10, Enoch was apprehended by police on other charges and was detained.

The PSPCA filed charges of animal cruelty against Enoch on Nov. 4, 2014, and a court date is pending.

The owner surrendered the dogs to the PSPCA. Both have recovered and were placed in permanent homes.
