Sun returns Friday in Philadelphia region following foggy morning. Here's the weather forecast.
After a foggy start to the morning in the north and west suburbs, the afternoon will brighten up as some sun returns with slightly lower humidity.
Looking ahead to our weekend, another round of rain will approach Saturday night into Sunday morning. Sunday afternoon may brighten up a bit before clouds thicken again on Monday and Tuesday.
As for the tropics, Humberto officially became a hurricane on Friday morning, and could be a major storm by early Sunday morning. Models keep it from making landfall, but there is another area of interest that is likely to become Imelda.
This storm could potentially have some impacts on the eastern seaboard late next week or even early in the week following. At this point, the National Hurricane Center (NHC) has a 90% probability of it becoming our next named storm.
