PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- It may be fashion night in New York, but Philadelphia has a designer whose studio is filled with shimmering fabrics.
He started 20 years ago with hand-printed scarves and today there is no end to the elegant items made in his studio on Broad Street.
Henri Matisse once said that an artist is an explorer, well Kevin O'Brien is an artist who is taking his fabrics where only few can.
"We make something that no one else can make."
Known for his decadent and divine designs, Kevin, a graduate of Penn, started his fabric business 20 years ago with hand printed scarves, which swept his clients away.
