Phila. Auto Show Includes Test Drives, Other Attractions At Convention Center

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Among the many attractions at the 115th Philadelphia Auto Show this year is a chance to take a ride in a popular four-wheeler in a simulated off-road experience.

Steve Lorton, is track manager for Camp Jeep, located at the back end of the main exhibit hall in the Pennsylvania Convention Center. Lorton says the idea is to take guests for a ride in one of the Jeep models on display and give them a demonstration of the vehicle's capability.

"Jeep is known to be that iconic four-wheeler and we're showing off the brand so we have the ground clearance, we have a maneuverability, we have some traction, we have an articulation. And, then we throw it all together at the end with our off-chamber to show how very capable the Jeep is," said Lorton.

Lorton says the ride is free and the memory priceless. The Auto Show continues through Sunday.
