Philadelphia Artists' Works For Sale At Art Star Craft Bazaar

By Suzanne Monaghan

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- There is an opportunity this weekend at the 23rd Street Armory (November 8 and 9) for shoppers to get high-quality hand-made goods from a variety of artists.

The Art Star Craft Bazaar is a retail art and craft show organized and juried by Art Star Gallery & Boutique.

"We've got ceramics, clothing, jewelry, prints, paintings," says Co-owner Erin Waxman. "So, really we try to have a good mix of hand-made and artist made goods."

Waxman says 60 artists will be at the show.

"We do have a lot of Philly artists," she says. "We try to get a good portion of Philly people, but then we also want to pull in people from other states and other areas, so it's work that you wouldn't see anywhere else."

There will also be opportunities for customers to make their own pieces. The show runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and admission is $2.00.
