Philadelphia: A Great City For Food Snobs?

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphians are many things, but one thing we might not consider ourselves is snobby.

But a new roundup from Travel + Leisure ranks Philadelphia "one of the best cities for food snobs."

According to the list, a meal in the City of Brotherly Love can actually be very high-brow – depending on where and what you're eating, of course.

"Consider the $120 cheesesteak at Barclay Prime on Rittenhouse Square, made with Wagyu beef, foie gras and 'truffled cheese whiz,'" T + L writes.

The article also gives a nod to vegan bar Charlie was a sinner. and upscale hummus joint Dizengoff.

Of course, the T + L list isn't all about pricey eats. It's also just about great food and memorable meals, like ordering a slice from philanthropic pizzeria Rosa's Fresh Pizza.
