Sixers NBA Free Agency Watch: JJ Redick Reportedly Signs With New Orleans Pelicans

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – JJ Redick is taking his talents to New Orleans. Redick agreed with to a two-year, $26.5 million contract with the Pelicans, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. But it's not all bad news on the Sixers' front.

The 35-year-old Redick averaged 17.6 points and shot 40.7% from three-point range during his two seasons with the Sixers.

Last season, Redick set a career high, averaging 18.1 points in 76 games.

While the Sixers lost Redick, they did reportedly re-sign Tobias Harris and Mike Scott on Sunday.

Report: Sixers Sign Tobias Harris To 5-Year Contract

Harris, according to Wojnarowski, agreed to a five-year, $180 million max contract with the Sixers. Scott inked a two-year, $9.8 million contract, per The Athletic's Shams Charania.

Sixers general manager Elton Brand wasn't done with Harris and Scott.

Report: Sixers Sign Al Horford, Acquire Josh Richardson In Sign-And-Trade That Sends Jimmy Butler To Heat

The Sixers weren't able to retain Jimmy Butler but essentially turned Butler into five-time All-Star Al Horford and guard Josh Richardson.

The Sixers, per Wojnarowski, will sign Horford to a four-year, $109 million contract and acquired Richardson in a sign-and-trade that sent Butler to Miami.

The Sixers are also reportedly discussing a max contract extension with Ben Simmons, according to Wojnarowski.

NBA free agency opened Sunday at 6 p.m.
