"They say blood sweat and tears, but we say, blood sweat and dance, because we do it all," explains Philadanco Artistic Director Joan Myers Brown.

She says the show's title is inspired by its signature ballet, "Bad Blood," choreographed by Ulysses Dove.

"There are a lot of death-defying lifts...and a lot of work on the bench that the dancers had trouble doing...but they got it. It's going to wonderful," she adds.

Other pieces include "Suite En Blue" by Gene Hill Sagan and Rene Harris' "Philadelphia Experiment" about the MOVE bombing. And, of course, the show ends with a BAM by Donald Byrd.
