Phila. Police Seeking Pair Who Stole Laptops Worth $18,000 From Manayunk School

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia police are looking for two people suspected of stealing more than a dozen computers, worth nearly $18,000, from a Manayunk elementary school.
Police say this robbery took place last Tuesday at 6:15am, at James Dobson Elementary School, on Umbria Street in Manayunk.
Philadelphia police lieutenant John Stanford says two males got in through the unlocked front door. "They then proceed to the second floor, where they enter a classroom, and they break into a charging cart and they take 13 Macbook computers."
Stanford says this was all caught on surveillance video, now released in the hopes of bringing in some tips from the public.
"To see individuals come into a school and take any equipment that can obviously be used to help our kids is definitely something you don't like to see," Stanford says.
He says the pair, possibly being in their mid to late teens, fled with a camouflage duffel bag. He also says it's possible they're Dobson students.
"It's even more disheartening if these are actual students at the school there, because they're taking away from their fellow classmates," Stanford tells KYW Newsradio.
