Phila. Planning Commission Approves Casino Master Project Plan
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A proposal for Philadelphia's second casino has been approved by the city Planning Commission.
If it gets final approval, Live! Hotel and Casino will be constructed by the developers of Xfinity Live! and Parx Casino.
Plans call for a Las Vegas-style facility at 900 Packer Avenue in the sports complex.
It would feature more than 2,000 slot machines and more than 125 table games.
SugarHouse Casino was Philadelphia's first gambling hall.
