Phila. DA Charges Man In 2014 Triple Homicide

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The Philadelphia District Attorney's office announced charges Thursday in connection with a triple murder two years ago.

25-year-old Quadir Jeffries faces three counts of homicide, robbery, and related crimes in connection with a robbery that went awry in February 2014.

"This was a very horrific crime, this was a murder of three people, shot in the head, execution style," says DA spokesman Cameron Kline.

Kline says the DA's office used an investigating grand jury to examine evidence and return the charges:

"There was cell phone evidence, there was a bank card and there was some ballistic evidence that all came together to build our case."

Keurlin Charles, Brian Williams and Vagner Freemont were murdered that day inside a home in the 6300 block of Martins Mill Road in the Crescentville section of the city.

Jeffries is already serving time for an unrelated crime.
