Person Struck, Killed By SEPTA Train In Center City

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – SEPTA officials say a person is dead after they were struck by a train Sunday night in Center City.

This happened around 7:45 p.m. near the Walnut/Locust Station.

Officials say shuttle buses are operating in place of train service for Broad Street Line passengers between the Walnut/Locust and Girard Stations.

Officials aren't releasing any more information at this time as police continue to investigate.
