Person Struck By Amtrak Train In Delco

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Amtrak confirms a train collided with a person while traveling from Washington DC to New York City Friday morning.

Amtrak says there were 349 passengers on board at the time. No passengers or crew members suffered any injuries.

Officials say the train temporarily lost power.

Amtrak is currently holding trains traveling between Wilmington and Philadelphia due to the incident.

No word on the condition of the person struck.

Amtrak says it has not been decided if the passengers will be transferred or continue on the train they are on.
