Person Dies After Being Crushed By Overturned Garbage Truck

WHITEMARSH TOWNSHIP, Pa. (CBS) -- A person was killed after being crushed by an overturned garbage truck in Whitemarsh Township on Tuesday morning.

Police say officers were called around 9:50 a.m. for an overturned truck on top of a person on Johns Lane and Hagys Mill Road.

The victim died at the scene.

Police are investigating the incident.
