PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - On today's APP-tastic and outta SITE - Periscope.
In the battle of broadcasting apps, Periscope has a big advantage.
The Twitter-owned live streaming tool has exploded since its debut, as its parent company has put up some roadblocks that have slowed the growth of chief competitor Meerkat.
It's incredibly easy to broadcast events though and while most are vanity exercises, this is a tool that has already proven useful when there are breaking news events.
